Can anyone give me some advice on how to become successful?

I have been plundering my mind for years trying to find a way to become sucessful. Maybe I'm just not doing things and would like some help on getting on the right path. I have an associates degree in business. I am managing a printing company, but i'm only making 23000 a year . I'm really considering finding something else or even going back to school. Can someone give me some advice on stabalizing myself? Can anyone give me some advice on how to become successful?
There are so many definitions and factors many considered in being successful. Some people measure it in terms of money, job satisfaction, their impact on others, being at the top level, or giving back to the community.

If you measure being success by financial ends, or getting to the top you should work on building relations with people working in areas you want to excel in. That way when opportunities become available they will remember you and reccommend you for the job.

Also you if you find your niche, consider coming up with unique, different, yet effective ideas and strategies that make you stand out from your competition.

Focus on your employees, listen to their input, and implement plans to increase job performance.

You can go back to school for you bachelor's, and even a masters. There's no guarantee you will receive a higher salary, but you can take classes to develop and improve skills which can help you become more successful.

I think it comes down to utilizing your resources, networking, and working hard. There's no exact time frame for achieving success but these strategies can increase your chance of becoming successful.

Like I said earlier, it really depends on what you define ';success'; to be.

I wish you good luck on your future endeavors. Can anyone give me some advice on how to become successful?
First you set an income, then you look for careers that offer the money you are looking for and get the training.
There is a great article posted on this blog that I think says alot about success. It lays out several things that will help you to succeed.
Going back to school is never a bad option, but it IS an expensive one. Depending on where you live, you may be able to find a good tech school, or a less-expensive four-year college, or even a top notch school that costs a bit more. Looking into student loans may help with all of those schools.

But going to school isn't for everyone. You have to figure out for yourself whether or not you're ready for the commitment, and how it may affect your current job, as far as the hours you have to put in.

Beyond that, if you decide not to go to school, start looking around for other good positions that may take advantage of your skills and degree. Is there room to move up in your current company? Develop ideas for your printing company, something that will help make things more efficient, or bring a new product to light. Update your resume in case you find something better somewhere else. If you're willing to move, you may find that the better jobs are in another city or state.

Another thing you may want to do is check with your local colleges and see if any of them offer career counseling to the public. I worked as a career development counselor for a while, and there are a lot of ideas and ways to figure things out for yourself in a career center.

Good luck!
Believe it or not, becoming successful at anything you do starts first in your mind and your belief. There are so many books available that were written by very successful people who explain the mental exercises you need to do in order to find success. Every millionaire and billionaire out there says the same thing. So if you look into how they ';think'; instead of ';what they do';, you can find yourself getting into the proper mindset.

One book I highly recommend is called Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T Harv Eker. He also offers many courses on this exact subject.

Just by reading your question, I know it's only a matter of time until you find success. The jumped the biggest hurdle by knowing that there's more out there, you just have to find it.

If you would like to talk more about this, feel free to email me.
Think over what interests you in life. Is it business - or is it something else? Attend a job fair if one opens nearby. This is a good way to learn what is out there. Also, visit a private employment office and talk with someone about high paying jobs.

Here are a few high-paying jobs:

Accountant

Estate manager

Sales copywriter

Certified physical therapist

Baker

Technical writer

Once a person finds what he or she wants to do, it is vital never to give up. Usually at the moment of greatest doubt, success is right around the corner.
