Any advice on how to choose a racket for a child?

Hi, I am looking for a new racket for my daughter. Should I choose based on feel, or is there other considerations?

It depends on how old your daughter is, how long she has been playing, and if she is going to take lessons. I think demoing racquets is the best way to choose a racquet. You can demo 4 from tennis-warehouse.com for $21, for a week. A local tennis shop here lets you demo a lot more for $40 and then the $40 can go toward the purchase price of your racquet (Mountain View, CA). just get a head light racket something light, no name brand until they grow older and find their own style of play.
