Can anyone give me some advice on how to solder thin-fragile solar cells?

Im making a solar panel and I have to solder them together.

I am experienced in this kind of work but the solder dosen't seem to stick well.

Can I use glue or silicone to stick them together AFTER I solder them together? Can anyone give me some advice on how to solder thin-fragile solar cells?
Dont.

Use electricaly conductive glue and save yourself the hassle. The glue has low resistance and if you make it thin it will be just as good as solder.

Attach the cells mechanically *first*, so they won't move during soldering. Use a temperature-controlled soldering iron. If you can still find some lead-based solder, use it ..... it's better than the lead-free sort, which was introduced for political reasons, not practical ones.
