Three point turn, any advice on how to not knock down cones at road test?

When reversing around a cone should I turn the steering wheel all the way in order to turn tighter? My hubby teaches me how to drive but with his law enforcement job I cannot get much practice!Three point turn, any advice on how to not knock down cones at road test?
First off, do not let the 3-point turn intimidate you.

See the videos in the links posted as follows:

Watch these videos. They should help you with the 3-point turn.

Steps:

Step One

With no traffic behind you or coming toward you, turn to the right or left until you are perpendicular to the street. (Make sure you signal)

Step Two

Put the car in reverse. Back up straight across to the other side of the street as far as possible.

Step Three

Put the car in drive or, in manual cars, first gear. Check traffic again.

Step Four

Turn the wheel all the way in the direction you want to go, and step on the gas lightly to complete the turn.

Step Five

Straighten yourself in the lane and drive away.

Edit:

WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought your avatar and username was familiar. I answered one of your questions earlier this week.

I added step by step instructions to the answer.

Best of luck to you.
