Does anyone have any advice on how to find good homes for two good cats?

Batman and Robin are very good natured cats, but I'm beginning to think it is impossible to find them a good home. We just found out my daughter is very allergic to them and she was also diagnosed with asthma. So, unfortunately, I have no other option but to find homes for them. Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help.Does anyone have any advice on how to find good homes for two good cats?
these are really great suggestions for keeping your cats and true. u know, some cats will even take a bath. that seemed to help me out when it came to my allergies, i have been giving my cat a bath since he was 4 months old. not often though, only about twice a year.

i'm 27 and have severe allergies, and grew up with asthma. i've been around cats my whole life. u really can control it.

all great suggestions - brush them, vacuum more, air purifier... also teach your child wash hands if ever petting.

i understand your child's health comes first, but there are solutions to this also.

now as an adult, i'm able to lay with my cat %26amp; cuddle as much as i like. i just have to always wash my hands and to remember to never touch my face or eyes when near them.Does anyone have any advice on how to find good homes for two good cats?
Advertise them, and add a photo and describe their personalities saying that they are good cats and must be homed together(less stressful on them)and explain its a genuine reason for re homing them, then say how well behaved they are and even mention their funny little habits,i have done it this way and i get to meet who is going to take them in, and have even kept in touch by phone to see how they get on,its reassuring this way, i hope they find a wonder full home!
My brother has asthma and he's lived with cats his whole life. My boyfriend is severely allergic to cats yet we have 3 in our house. My boyfriend takes medicine for it and so would my brother. Pets are like family members, we dont just get rid of them when they suddenly become an inconvenience. Please talk to you daughters doctor, i'm sure there's some way you can keep these cats.

There are allergy shots that you can get once every few months to help with her allergies.

There are tons and tons of cats in the shelter right now waiting for homes and kitten season is right around the corner meaning that people are going to be adopting cute little kittens, and not adult cats (its sad, but true). And.. a shelter will not guarantee that your cats will go to the same home, they'll probably split them up.

Please look at all of your options before you decide to give these cats away.
poor kitties, you do not have to get rid of them because your daughter is allergic, you have to make her bedroom a cat free zone, put an air puirifer in there and keep the door shut to the cat. vaccuum twice a week and brush the cat at least once a week. wipe the cat down with a damp paper towel or a cat wipe a couple of times a day to cut down the dander.

please do not get rid of your cats!
First- that really sucks!!! Go through a shelter or Rescue service. They can email you an application to have potential adopters to fill out. You can put an ad in the paper or online but be aware how many cruel people will abuse, sell or use your cats as bait for fighting dogs. A shelter or rescue can help you find the right people. You can also ask for Vet to hang up a poster with their pictures and background info. Good luck!!!
Put an ad on Craigslist. It's free, and you can include a picture in the ad. Go to http://www.craigslist.org, and select your city. They have major cities on the main page, but you can also click on your state and then your city. Click on ';Pets'; which is in the Community group. It's very easy to place an ad. Make sure you ask for some type of re-homing fee to ensure that Batman and Robin don't fall into villainous hands.
Bring them to your local no kill animal shelter. These are professionals who find new homes for kitties every day.
You can try advertising them on Craigslist.com for your area, the newspaper, or try taking them to a local no-kill shelter.
call the animal shelters or put up posters to advertise your cats are you in the uk?
