Any advice on how to train a Border Collie to herd?

She is only 5 months old so I still have a while but I would like some tips! Thanks!Any advice on how to train a Border Collie to herd?
If you have regular access to sheep and can keep up the training then go ahead. If you haven't then it won't work. For excellent information in the UK try www.bordercollies.co.uk, run by Barbara Sykes, who is a former International Sheepdog trialist, specialist Border Collie trainer and sheep farmer.Any advice on how to train a Border Collie to herd?
does anyone else near you have a herding border collie? they can be very helpful. also, border collies are born with the instinct to herd. if you've ever seen a show trial of them, you will be amazed.
Put her in a pen full of sheep? Seriously, they pretty much do it naturally, they were bred for those instincts. You just have to teach her commands like 'go' 'come' 'stop' etc.
